Dead on. That Chris Tucker was amazing.
People were quick to criticize these two child stars because when you’re the offspring of superstars Will and Jada Smith you’re supposed to shut up and be happy with your millions. Their viewpoints are a breath of fresh air and not the programmed garbage we hear from squeaky clean Disney stars who behind scenes are depressed and taking boatloads of drugs due to the faux images that they can no longer maintain once they begin to reach adulthood. So is the hardest education the unlearning of things?
WILLOW: Yes, basically, but the crazy thing is it doesn’t have to be like that.
JADEN: Here’s the deal: School is not authentic because it ends. It’s not true, it’s not real. Our learning will never end. The school that we go to every single morning, we will continue to go to.
WILLOW: Forever, ‘til the day that we’re in our bed.
One of the gifts of being young is that particular blend of self-confidence and self-consciousness.
In theory this makes sense but in reality these guys are not going to step to the plate to the level as our former civil rights leaders. I would love for them to prove me wrong.
