F*cking animals and I am not talking about those teens. The Paul Blart move in the beginning? Police out here pulling guns on teens who had a pool party? This world is fucked big time. Props to that kid who stood up to that officer and put his life on the line for that young lady who was being brutalized.
A McKinney, Texas police officer was put on “administrative leave” after a video posted online showed him wrestling a teen girl to the ground and pulling his gun on another teen during a pool party. The unnamed officer is seen shouting obscenities, pulling the 15-year-old Dajerria Becton’s hair as he wrestles her to the ground. Becton said she hopes the officer will be punished. “He grabbed me, twisted my arm on my back and shoved me in the grass and started pulling the back of my braids. I was telling him to get off me because my back was hurting bad.” Officers were responding to the call of a private security guard and residents who complained that several teenagers did not have permission to use the residential community pool and had refused to leave. via Daily Beast
Don’t know the full story yet, will update as details emerge. I guess cops have no idea how to remedy a situation without brutal violence.
Officials give their side of the story below:
“There was no snowball fight,” he said.
A high-ranking source agreed with Murphy.
“The video looks terrible, but it’s completely out of context,” the source said. “It’s a completely different incident than it appears from that snippet. There’s clearly a lot of misunderstanding. The record of the 911 call will by itself illustrate what was going on.”
They sure was having fun.
School has definitely changed since I was there.
This is truly a sad story and all too familiar in the black community.
HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. (WABC) — A huge courtroom brawl resulted in several arrests and some injuries inside Hempstead Court Friday morning.
Before you judge there is a lot going on in this story. Gawker has some of the back story:
The video captures the moments right before deputies say shots were fired into the pickup truck. It shows a man getting out of the SUV and asking the other driver why he tried to run him off the road. The man then punched the driver and the fight spilled outside with a passenger in the pickup helping his friend. The fight continued until the woman in the SUV came out with a handgun, and gave it to the SUV driver.
A neighboring home was also damaged by gunfire.
According to unconfirmed reports, the man had followed the teens to their home in Newport after they cut him off on Highway 70 near James City.
The man, identified as 40-year-old Bradley Turner, and his wife, identified as 30-year-old Christy Turner, turned themselves in at the Lenoir County Courthouse yesterday afternoon, and spent a short time behind bars before being released on bond.
